Seriously @ Work!

Taking A Trip was this April's learning theme in school, and Ms. Phebe has requested every student to bring a picture for the Show and Tell session. Mommy was very enthusiastic about the "Show and Tell" after hearing from Daddy about Beatrice's presentation for the next day. Mommy was very much influence by Aunty Christine who has shared with mommy previously that she has observed improvements in Aloysius's' confidence and public speaking skills. And mommy was very eager to help Beatrice with the presentation she has to make.

Without checking her E-mail on the specified request sent by Ms. Phebe, Mommy took out a drawing paper and gotten Beatrice to stick several pictures of her trips to Sentosa and East Coast on the paper. Then Mommy made Beatrice to write the title of her trips on the paper, including the things she did on her trips. Then Mommy gave Beatrice pointers on her presentation, and we did 2 rounds of rehearsal that very evening. Beatrice did well when we rehearsed, and she was able to articulate clearly about the things she did on her trips, and she was also able to share with us her thoughts about the trips made.

Mommy and Beatrice also drew some pictures on the drawing paper, to make it look less dull and plain. Look at how focus Beatrice can be, if she is really serious about work :)

Mommy found out from Beatrice that very next day, that all the kids only brought a photo for their show and tell. It was only Beatrice who was so "kia-su" to bring so many pictures for her presentation. Oops, looks like Mommy has to check her E-mail first, and follow specific instructions from the teacher, before embarking on the next assignment with Beatrice :P
