Our City Gal!

Previously, Beatrice was seriously paranoid about getting herself dirty, even in the name of FUN! Beatrice would scream and yell, and she would feel icky when we try to get her fingers dirty for arts and crafts. . But today, she is much at eased. At least, our city gal has come to term and is accepting the fact that dirt can be washed away. And I mean dirt that do not smell! Puzzles? Let me share with you ...

There were several occasions where Larry accidentally stepped on cat's or dog's poo poo, without knowing it. And as we travel up the lift to our apartment, strong stench were detected by Beatrice and myself. And we all knew that it was Daddy and his carelessness. Or rather, the naughty doggy or kitty has forgotten to poo in the toilet ... hahaha .. Because of such incidences, Beatrice is very reluctant to walk on grass. But if she does not have the choice, she will tip toe all the way and she will not stop asking, " Are there poo poo in the grass? ..."

Here are some pictures we have taken of Beatrice, sometime early this year. I've introduce the idea of enjoying her food with her fingers, even though it is oily! Rarely do you get to see me indulging my family in deep fried food. But for our precious' seek, I deep fried some chicken drumlets and get Beatrice to eat with her hands. Beatrice did a good job, even though she was rather skeptical about the idea. Initially, she was quite apprehensive but as she sank her teeth into the juicy drumlets, yummy yummy ... she started using both hands to hold and enjoy her food!

Young children like Beatrice has no stress and fear. And they are always eager to learn and try new things. Given an opportunity, with a dash of perseverance from us, our kiddos will learn and excel.

Always try to make learning fun. Do not force feed or the child will loose their interest!
