To the Southern Ridge

After having our cupcakes, Daddy brought us to a new hanging out place for Singaporean. The Bridging Ridges.

We have decided to start off with the Southern Ridge for this first attempt of ours. And here we are, at the Henderson Waves! Henderson Waves starts from Mount Faber Point. I should say that it is quite a long walk, and it is a downhill walk, before you reach the Henderson Waves from the Jewel Box.

The view is breathtaking, as you take a slow walk up the sloppy bridge. You get to see the city, skyscrapers, buses down the bridge and lots of trees! Yes, its a "tree top walk" on the highest pedestrian bridge here in Singapore.

I am having lots of fun here! Come, come and join us ...

Dads and Moms thinking of bring their little tots to this beautiful bridge need not fear that we will get tired. For there are plenty of sitting areas on the bridge. A caution to all parents out there. For kids like me who is still learning about the gravity forces, please take extra care of your child when they are going downhill. Because, it is quite sloppy, and we might tumble like Jack and Jill if we are not careful.

Look at me! I am enjoying myself very much, and this is the longest ever I had walk.

Look, I am really really tired after walking 300mtrs, and I have been stopping for a sit on the sitting platform when we were going downhill! Phew ... this is hard work for me.Next, we went to the Hort Park located after Alexandra Technopark. If you are driving, you may want to park at the Hort Park car park. This is the place where kids little me can learn about flora and fauna. Inside the park, there is a very nice and cosy dining area. There is a research area, coupled with retailers, selling products relating to plant.

After the long walk, heat and perspiration, all of us were so hungry. We adjourned to Hong Kong Kim Gary at Vivo City for lunch. Yummy yummy ... the food taste so yummy. Sorry folks, not much picture here as we need to attend to our tum-tum! see you next time ... tata ...
