Beatrice's 2nd Day of School at MindChamps
Beatrice woke up this morning beaming with eagerness to go to school. We have reminded her that she has to try and take her nap, and she said ok.
We did not stay long in school this morning as parents were not allow to stay with their kids today. Therefore, we left promptly after Ms. Phebe arrived in class. Everything went on fine until 1235pm when I received Ms. Phebe's call. As expected, Beatrice was reluctant to take her nap again, and she was crying for me! Ms. Phebe has seek my permission to respect Beatrice's decision, and she will let Beatrice do some activities. We agreed. Afterwhich, we did not receive any more call from Ms. Phebe.
We pick up Beatrice from school at 530pm just now, and Ms. Phebe greeted us in the hall way with smiles. She has commented that Beatrice was a darling in school today, except for nap time. The teachers actually took turns to carry her while she dozed off when she was being carried. As Ms. Phebe has reported, each time they put her on the cot, Beatrice would start to cry. Hence, Beatrice has only managed to take a very short nap. As for the rest of the nap time, the teachers sang with her, read to her, play with her and even sat in the dark with her! Ms. Phebe wanted to know if Beatrice was afraid of the dark. Well, the experiment has failed. For she has ended up giggling in the dark room with the teachers. "Cheeky she was", said Ms. Phebe.
As we were ushered to PG2 class to pick up Beatrice, she was so busy looking around for toys! And when she saw us, she was so happy and she leaped towards me! I am glad to see our little princess happy in school. And Ms. Phebe further commented that Beatrice would soothe her friends who cried for their parents. And she would also talk to them and bring food for them! Ms. Phebe is proud to have a darling like Beatrice in class. And so are we, as her parents!
Well, Beatrice darling, Daddy and Mommy know that you can make it and you will adapt so quickly in school by next week.
