Beatrice says Water while we bath her!
Four days before turning to 10 months old, little Beatrice has a spur in her language progress! It came as a shock to both Larry & me when she started saying “dog dog”, while looking at the toy dog! Well, not be to be mistaken, as “dog dog” was not her first word = )
Guess her first word?
It’s Dad Dad!
Larry was so proud of her daughter and HAPPY (of course!), when she utter “Dad Dad” before the CNY! And when she saw Dad Dad zzzing still in the morning, she will look at me and says “Dad Dad Dad Dad” ! So sweet … and I am so jealous = (
Words that Little Beatrice has started to verbalize are Dog Dog, Car Car, Water, Hair, Mum Mum and Door! Though not all are very clear, but she would look at the things and tell us exactly what she saw. It was really fun and excited for us to hear her talk to us! She would tell us car car when we are on the road or at the car park. And when she looks at her Dad Dad opening the door, she would say Do … or! These are the little things we would share with her and teach her when she observes what we are doing. She would even say “mum mum mum mum” when I ate in front of her!
The clearest word she could pronounce?
It’s Hair!
Know why?
Cos she loves to pull my hair! Hahaha ….
I am waiting for my daughter to call me too!!!!
But when will that be???
Maybe these weekends!!! Hehehe ….

Up to now Nat havent even call me "mummy"! She can only pronunce "Ma" or "Mum"... hai.. and she started calling "Dad" and "Daddy" before 1! :( So jealous.
Larry: No worries. It's just a matter of time. It is also very natural that babies will look for mommy when in need...although they start to call us earlier...muahahaha.
Hi Rachel, I thought she would call me mommy soon by this wkend. So ... "pao-tang" liao =( gotta be patient and wait lah! weeeeeeweee ...
