On the Hippo Tour!

Last Saturday, we went on a ride on the Hippo Tour, which was meant for tourist. Both Larry and myself enjoyed the ride very very much!

The ride starts @ 6pm and ends @ 10pm. We board the bus @ 550pm outside Suntec Convention Center, which heads for the Magical Musical Fountain @ Sentosa. Little Beatrice enjoyed the 20 mins show that starred Kiki, the monkey. Both Larry & myself were in awe when the fireballs emitted from above the water fountain!

Afterwhich, we proceed to Bugis @ 815pm from Sentosa via the Nicoll Highway. By this hour, our little princess was fast asleep in my arms while Larry and myself enjoyed the beautiful night scenes, and the skyscraper emerging from the side of the highway. The night was so beautiful and the “breeze” from the topless ride created the most punk hairstyle neither of us would wear to the streets!

Our intention of going for the ride was to bring Beatrice to view the beautiful and the most captivating Christmas lighting we have here in Orchard Road. However, being a early sleeper, our princess managed to stay awake till about 830pm, when we were at Bugis before she finally doze off!

We have intended to go for the ride again next Christmas when Beatrice is much older. Hopefully by then, she can stay up a little long and enjoy the Christmas lighting with us = )
